It has been awhile since I have been on the ole blog. I have been working on my etsy shop - LambchopsCardsPlus I have added new items and changed the look. I love the owls!

I have also been working on some digital scrapbook pages. I still like the old way, but digital is soooo fast and easy. I got 34 pages done in just a few hours today. Smilebox is a huge help and has a lot of cute layouts. I am heading to a crop this weekend and am looking forward to getting a few more pages done.

The summer is flying by! I have been able to steal a few minutes here and there to work on cards and paper crafts. Hoping to someday attend a craft fair. For right now the kids keep me pretty busy! Above are a few cards I have been working on. They include the new "in colors" from Stampin' Up! I got some great ideas from Jackie Bolhuis and her blog - Klompen Stampers - She has some beautiful cards and great ideas!! I have also been working on modifying composition books. I love the Stamin' Up! Designer Series Paper and all the matching colors they have. Enjoy all the pics! Hope you are having a great summer!

First Taxi Ride :)

We took the train into Chicago from Michigan City. The kids had a lot of fun. We took a bus and even got in a taxi - it was funny to see the kids try to buckle themselves in the taxi! We made it to Millenium Park, Water Tower and the American Girl Doll store and to the Lego Store and my favorite The Cheesecake Factory!

I just thought I would share the cards I have been working on. A few Spring ones - different ribbons. I used the "A Good Egg" stamp set from Stampin' Up! and the DSP - Sweet Always. I also make Thank You cards for our teachers. Below is one of them. I love the "Tart and Tangy" Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! The DSP is retired Summer Picnic - you could always use DSP Washington Apple. (Sorry about my photos - I am learing how to scan and display my projects. :) )

Since I have been home with sick kiddos the last 3 weeks
I have been catching up on some projects.
Above is a pin for St. Patty's Day. I used the Pinch Proof Stamp set from Stampin' Up! The card stock and ribbon are both retired Wild Wasabi. You could easily make this in Certainly Celery. I also used the scallop circle, 1 3/8" circle and 1/2" circle punches.
